ABOUT

Hi all.
I’m in a covers band but I’d like to start a second project with an emphasis on writing and recording for various projects as jingles, audio for video, artist demo’s, songs for sale, etc.
I’ve got a very well equip protools home recording studio.
Everything needed for high quality recording is here, set up and ready to go..
I’d like to find some talented musicians/composers willing to put in a little time putting together a solid demo reel of various styles of original music to start pitching to producers, publishers, artists, marketing firms, etc.
I’m retired from the entertainment business but I’d like to start using my home studio to pursue something creative that can generate some income and is fun to do.
I’m looking for a core of musicians that are more into writing and recording and not so interested in just doing covers and part time gigging.
I’m not looking for a huge time commitment getting started but do want to find compatible musicians/producers, composers interested in various types of recording and hopefully we can find a team that clicks.
I’m thinking in terms of Stax, Motown. Muscle Shoals, the Meters, Toto, etc. Studio groups that backed up a wide variety of artists. , I’m looking for musician/writers interested in forming a studio band.
I’m primarily a bass player and looking for drums, guitars, keys, and some horns when needed.
It might take a little while getting tracks sold and income generated getting started but everyone will get paid according to their contributions as things get going.
Everything is negotiable.
