28 year old bass/guitar player seeking opportunities in anything other than super heavy stuff

I'm an experienced and passionate musician interested in playing local gigs. I’ve played gigs with a few local Fort Worth bands ranging in genre from Motown/funk to hard rock, and I have also played on several worship bands in the past. Despite having played some gigs, I’m still fairly new to Fort Worth and would love to meet new people and gain some connections in the Fort Worth music scene.

One of my favorite things about playing with others is forming great band chemistry and coming up with new ideas to take our music to the next level. I'm a jammer at heart and I hardly ever play a song the same way twice, as each playthrough is a unique experience with its own feel. My best instrument is bass and this is what I'm primarily seeking opportunities for, however I also know how to play electric/acoustic guitar, piano/keyboard, and some mandolin too. I love most genres of music and can match most anything out there, but I'm primarily focusing on opportunities with a blues/americana, funk/jazz or folk/country feel.
