I am a vocalist with over 30+ years experience singing in various groups/forums and no stranger to the stage. I have been in several types of bands from Rhythm & Blues to Top 40 cover bands and I am interested in committed musicians that love to play for the music.

What started as a studio project with my friend/drummer has turned into something a bit more including the opportunity for me to record with my dad (he plays keys). I want to focus on bigger gigs, larger venues and crowds with a pulse gigging a couple times a month. All set with the bar scene except for maybe an occasional live practice (great way to test reactions to new stuff)

I am a strong female front woman who likes to engage with the crowd and pushing the norm by making the songs we select our own. I also enjoy full sound, so I often design 2-, 3- and 4-part harmonies. I want to have a broad mix of songs and genres to ensure that we connect emotionally and get them on their feet. Interested in sharing vocals some of the time as it really expands where we can go!

With the right musicians (currently looking for Lead Guitarist with Vocals) this could develop into anything we want and would love to have folks that are interested come down to Pelham to play some tunes to see if the chemistry is there. What do you think?

A little about me and my experience?
- Influenced by countless artists and I enjoy a vast mix of genres.
- Vast range (alto to 2nd soprano)
- Playing piano by ear since I was 4 years old.
- Age 14 opened for the band Sometimes Jones (signed local southern rock band in the early 90's) at a local club solo singing and playing keys. I also had the opportunity to learn my range measured from Alto to Second Soprano providing a large catalogue of artists.
- Age 15 began to develop my sound without limiting myself to just female artists.
- Age 16 I began experimenting with bands but found varying skill levels and resistance to female influence over band direction.
- Age 17 spent time learning and developing skills in studio sound and recording.
- Rest of my teenage years I sought any opportunity to find a stage and perform. I still do this today!
- From my teens until about age 20, I experimented with different sounds, writing music/lyrics and developing my musical identity.
- Age 20 I qualified for finals in my first singing competition.
- Age 23 I recorded my first demo with Anthony Resta
- From then on been in several different types of bands, but not the one calling the shots and influencing direction
- In my 30's invited to perform in Battle of the Bands at the Chicago House of Blues
- Age 36 I competed in a large competition performing in at the finals in Nevada where I placed within the Top 20 in the nation in female Pop.

I have learned a lot about myself as an artist and really feel at my age I am coming into my own and excited to be in a band as the front person leading musical direction, designing harmonies, developing new takes on covers together and maybe even some originals down the line. I care about everyone's input and right now I have top rate drummer, keyboards w/backup vocals, bass w/backup vocals and need lead guitarist with vocals to blend with us.
