I’m an experienced musician who has written lyrics for, sang, performed and gigged numerous times in various original metal and hard rock bands as both guitarist and bass player in Connecticut throughout the last 30 years. I like listening to nearly all genres of music but I have a particular drive for metal.

Many varied influences, but topping the list (in alphabetical order, not importance) would be Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Megadeth, Metallica, Slayer, Testament and ‘70s-‘90s era rock bands such as AC/DC, Pink Floyd, Simple Minds, Soundgarden, Van Halen and countless others.

EQUIPMENT

At the moment my main instruments are a Fender PJ active bass and Schecter passive bass guitar with a specific combination of Ampeg & MarkBass heads (100/300 watts) with 2x12 Ampeg cabinet for super clear high and mid range combined with 1x15 MarkBass cab for solid, beefy low end, I also have an Ibanez electric guitar re-fitted with EMG active pickups played through an Alesis processor and Marshall 100-watt JCM 4x10 stack and access to a full stack if the gig needs it. I’ve used numerous effects pedals (mostly Boss) although these haven’t been used in a long time as I try to keep things simple unless I’m doing a guitar solo.
