I've been playing drums since I was 9 years old. I started out in my school's honor bands, jazz band, and marching band. I was also a member of the Colts Drum Corps. Over the years, I've played drums for many different bands, including 4 Below ( Rock ), Little Red and the Medicated Moose Band ( Americana / cover ), Emily Johnson Blues Band ( 9 piece soul / blues ), Red Dirty Turkeys ( Red dirt country ), Big Bad Cash Band ( Johnny Cash tribute ), and Josh Davis Band ( original rock / americana - touring ). I've also been a studio session drummer on several projects. I'm proficient in playing multiple genres, including rock, classic rock, blues, country, funk, metal, pop, and Americana.

I'm passionate about music and I love sharing my love of drumming with others. I'm always looking for new opportunities to play and perform. I'm also a music educator and I enjoy teaching others how to play the drums. I have been a music educator for high school marching band for 8 years and I have taught private lessons for 10 years. I believe that everyone has the potential to learn to play the drums and I enjoy helping students reach their full potential.

I'm grateful for the opportunities I've had to play drums with so many talented musicians. I'm excited to see what the future holds for me since moving to the Portland, Oregon area.

EQUIPMENT

I own 3 complete drumsets and 8 snare drums. Multiple sets of cymbals and hardware packs.

In addition to the drums I own a SM58, SM57, Beta 52, and a couple other condenser mics.

I also have a small in house studio set-up, just like everyone else these days. ;)
