What’s up!!!! My Name is Rene Garza but people know me as “Babo” & I’m from Chicago Illinois. I’ve been playing drums for quite some time now and I’ve been in a family of musicians! Music is my passion and ever since I was a little kid I used to go on tour with my uncle who had a group called “Grupo Pegasso”. I used to go on tour with the band and get down on the drums when they didn’t have a drummer & mannn if felt sooo awesome playing infront of thousands of people! and ever since then, my dream is to become a musician and I look forward to being part of a group and just making music, I’m up for anything!!!

Influences

I think one of my biggest influences has to be my Dad, my dad has taught me soo much about the musician life.. If it wasn’t for my dad I don’t think I would’ve been interested in being a musician, because of him I am the Person that I am today.. but drumming wise it has to be my homie Joey “JMZ” Jimenez, who played for Los Kumbia Kingz All Starz and Vanilla Ice!!! He is the reason why I started drumming in the first place and who ever new that I would end up being best homies with him!!!
