ABOUT

I've got many years of singing professionally with my own band from many years in San Francisco. It was a funk band. I Sang lead vocals. I also sang back up and lead for other bands, like the Veronica Klaus heart and soul review.

I spent 4 years with the Oakland interface gospel choir. As a professional singer, a first alto with a solid 3+;active range. I performed eight seasons with OIGC.

I've got a lot of experience as a studio singer, recording, traveling performing music as a professional singer. And very accustomed to the spotaneous.performance when opportunity and invitation manifests

I do play some guitar and keys but my focus is on vocals.

Influences

Jazz blues r&B gospel and there are some acoustic soft rock and country songs here and there that I do like if they are soulful.

From Ella Fitzgerald to Patsy Cline Donny Hathaway recently his daughter Layla Hathaway, Bonnie Raitt, the eagles bad Company The Isley Brothers, there's so many great singers that have influenced my path but these singers have had a specific impact including the great Aretha Franklin.
