I feel compelled to sing! Am looking to enjoy+ progress & jam! I am not a DJ (but that could be lots of fun), or even an amateur musician. I have received no training and have zero performance history.
I enjoy singing and started my career singing over radio hits on my playskool tape recorder with the little red microphones. At some point later I advanced into an adult version of this known as karaoke. I have and will walk into a bar solo, sing to strangers and receive (hopefully sober) compliments and on occasion a song request from the bar patrons, that’s got to be worth something right? My deep lyrical knowledge and quick retention abilities have always helped me out a bit too.
I enjoy many kinds of music and want to have fun but would also be fully committed to the right fit for a band of group seeking more serious development. Open to something casual like private practice jam sessions or acoustic covers on a park bench. With this it’s important to note that I’m also open to legitimate opportunities whether pre existing or in development and understand these require dedication time energy and travel. I hope to find some like minded, patient, and inclusive musicians here with similar interests.
Noticed that I lean toward contralto artists so that range is more in line with my vocal ability but these are areas I am also eager to develop further.
I can vibe from Oldies to Emo. Soul to pop punk. Indie to Metal. Anything 90s. Musical theater and more.
