Robert Lashley (B.K.A.) Preacherman Lash, born July 19??, is a songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, record producer, and activist. At the age of 4 years old, Preacherman Lash realized he had a speacial talent to play back musical notes on the xzylophone and begain to develop skills on the piano, drums, percussions, and harmonica.

In 1992 Shortly after serving a 3 years tour of duty in the Navy, as a hospital corpsman, and a member of a L.A. R&B HIP HOP rap group called RAW IMAGE featuring Paris Escovedo on timbales, I was discovered by producer Brian Wayy, and signed to Gasoline Alley Records/MCA at which time he started to learn about audio preprodcution and the ins and outs of record industry.

In 1994 Preacherman Lash, moved back to Cleveland, and became a member of a Cleveland based Hip Hop, R&B group called Black Mist, members including: Lash, Halv Dead, and O.G. Shanksta a dynamic trio with hardcore street lyrics laced with smooth R&B hooks. Im 2004 the group memebers of Black Mist started working on their solo projects at which time Lash was going thruogh a spiritual awakening and allowed the Lord to take control of his life and deliver messages of peace, love, and unity to all hummanity.

Currently you can find Preacherman Lash in the studio writing and producibg positive, edifying music, for the upliftment of mankind, and also playing percussion with Humble G and The Afripeans, and my own group The Invisible Tongues.
