I have been a bass player for 25+ years; played in many different bands, in all styles of music including rock, americana, jazz, funk, and jam. Good tone and technique on the bass. Some formal training in jazz music theory, combined with a lot of my own study. I'm a Dad of an 11 yo son, and I'd be available for a gig per month or so + rehearsals. If you are looking for a professional, creative, and egoless (but not gutless) bass player for a session or a gig, contact me for a demo.
Out of my home project studio in Shelburne, I do recording, mixing, mastering, media transfers, editing, and much more. It's a fun and effective rehearsal space, and I have made great recordings for several bands there. I am also available to do mobile, on site recording for demos, etc. I have done sound for multimedia and video productions, tape for WNYC and National Public Radio
