Music is my passion and I spend as much time as possible playing. I have decades of experience playing guitar and have played hundreds of gigs through the years. I currently play guitar and keyboards in a busy Raleigh area cover band (.overdubnc). Always interested in connecting with musicians to explore new stuff so feel free to hit me up. Keep in mind that any musical side projects I undertake would need to be pretty low key since my main project takes up a lot of time.

Influences
Pretty much a little of everything, but my favorites during the early years were Rossington/Collins (Skynyrd); Jimmy Page; EVH; Alex Lifeson, Richie Blackmore, etc. Also influenced by fusion players like Larry Carlton, All Dimeola, Jeff Beck, Robben Ford as well as funk players like Niles Rogers and, more recently, John Fruscianti.

EQUIPMENT
I have a lot of gear, but I'm mainly playing a Suhr Classic Antique and an American Strat for their versatility and using a Friedman Smallbox amp these days. I have a several more electric guitars, loads of pedals, a couple of acoustics, a J-Bass, and a Casio Privia keyboard. I also have lots of pro sound stuff (PA gear).

Recorded using my Friedman Runt 50, 1x12" G12H75, SM57 into Garageband. Double tracked all rhythms (no other guitar in recording except me). Left mix and solo using my Suhr Antique Classic (SSV). Right mix using Suhr Modern (SSH+). A touch of reverb and delay and, of course, phase 90 on solo. No post production. Solo is just a jam (first take), I didn't try to learn what Eddie does.

Simple recording with a room mic from Eric's Attic Band rehearsal, circa 2014. I'm playing lead. My tone is way too loose on this recording. That amp is long gone (Budda SD 30), but this is another example of a cover in a band situation.
