Band to Join.ABOUT
Moving to the Maryland/DC area and looking for a band. Basically anything within ~15 miles of UMD's campus is cool (so no Baltimore, sry, but too much driving). Been playing the bass guitar for ~25 years in four different bands (Black metal, Progressive, Alternative Rock; see linked videos). Haven't been able to find a decent band for the past five years (Arizona). Although this is just a hobby for me, I do enjoy regular band practices (~once a week), occasional gigs, and recording new material on a semi-professional level.
I used to be quite rambunctious, basically turning every song into a bass solo. Naturally, I mellowed a bit. Still, I love my effects and can easily fill the space of a 2nd guitar. That said, I know when to chill, and my primary interest is simply to produce and perform good songs.
