The Man, HER, Al Green, Queens of the Stone Age, The Roots, Local Natives, Young the Giant, Foster the People, The Neighborhood, SiR, Miguel, Curtis Mayfield, Chris Cornell, Saskwatch, The Weeknd. Things with keys and tasty bass lines, sexy soulful haggard vocals with driving rhythms, beats, and solos. I'm a huge 60's and 70's soul, classic rock and prog fan, and a giant hip-hop head...but damn I have ZERO interest in covering Def Leppard, Bon Jovi, or anything that gets thrown on the jukebox after fireball shots.
