I was trained in music as a bassoonist. I played in many combos, orchastras, and concert bands. I learn to play the drums and the bass to fill insome needed spots in my school band. I feel in love with playing the bass and have been doing it ever since. I joined the Marine Corps and went to the Armed Forces School of Music and then played in several Marine Corps bands. I currently keep my chops up by playing with my drummer of a wife, currently a Marine musician

Influences:

I learned to play by listening to the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Parliment Funk, Victor Wooten and Led Zeppelin. I enjoy all types of rock, jazz and classical. While I enjoy heavy metal and punk rock, I would prefer not playing them as they aren't much my style. I do enjoy there influences though. I am a very drummer and rhythm geared player.

Equipment List:

I have several basses to include a Jackson KBX, an old Fender Bassmaster, a Madrian Hurricane, a 5 -string Dean Performer and a '73 Fender Jazz. I play through a Gallien-Kruege Backline 250 Head and 410 BLX Cab Half Stack. I also own a Yamaha Stage Custom Advantage 6 peice drum set. Plus several random keyboards and amps.
