ABOUT

New group of professional players, looking for a singer.
I have an amazing Drummer and Bassist, we just need a good soulful singer.. Blues rock\rock R&B type voice, would be perfect...Robert Cray keeps coming to mind as a singer that would be amazing fit, but theres flex, open to female singer as well.
Our goal is to develop originals and record an album, we also will start gigging locally and have ins to florida blues fest due to members established network in the industry.
None of us sing good enough to take us " next level" we are not aiming to just play locally, we are not an established band, we are a group of experienced musicians and looking for above average vocalist.
We are within the realm of blues, blues rock, Psychadelic blues ala " Hendrix, Trower, Cream", rock like Garry Moore, and blues of SRV, Robert cray kind of feel. I also play Slide guitar.
If you play Rhythm thats fantastic, but really a singer is what we need. Need to know how to use your voice, sing soulfully, not required to imitate the artist we cover starting out, can do it in your own tasteful way.
If you have the pipes and drive awesome! - We will be renting rehersal space, hoping the person we find has weekend availability, saturdays or sundays to make a worth while practice session. I live southside near the airport (guitarist), the drummer and bassist live north side. I am open to work with who ever every day after 5pm, off every other friday and weekends im open. Jimi Hendrix, Robin Trower, Eric Clapton, Robert Cray, Garry Moore, SRV, Lance Lopez, Philip Sayce, Derek Trucks, Roben Ford, Danny Gatton, Arc Angels, Joe Satriani, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Govt Mule, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Jeff Healey, John lee Hooker, ZZ Top. Probably ACDC too probably, and a thousand others but that really covers the " spectrum" of sound.

EQUIPMENT

Both these guys have a ton of equipment.

Not going to get granular with all of what i have..
Gibson LB, and some others but my main guitars are strats and a bigsby gretch.
Main amp has been a Fender 65 delux but I have 1987x hand wired and JTM45 copy that I really love the sound of.
A pile of pedals I seem to swap out, but i pretty much always have wah-octafuz-univibe-OD-OD-tuner... Sometimes I use a compressor but most of the time I like dynamic playing and compressors ruin that =) .. All electric, i will be getting a nice acoustic again, but just not a priority.
