This is not your typical 80's review band... A Band Down Under plays the best new wave and modern rock from Australia. In the 80's, some of the most unique and talented acts hailed from the Land Down Under. MTV favorites like, Men at Work, Icehouse, Midnight Oil, Crowded House, The Church, and of course the global phenominon, INXS. Blocks of the best songs from each, like mini tributes, with the occasional onesy-twosy from lesser known acts that had their 15 minutes of fame, makes this Phoenix based band completely unique.

Looking for another part-time, passionate pro, mult-instrumentalist, with just the right amount of experience, stage presence, enough time and more than enough enthusiasm to play these songs at shows a couple times a month. Playing better clubs, casinos, themed and corporate events here, there, out and about, is the idea. Being an age that this all makes sense and is not only interesting, but exciting to you, is ideal. If you watched MTV when they actually played music videos, then you are likely in the appropriate range. Aging gracefully, still kicking ass and not only taking names, but taking good care of yourself mentally, emotionally, physically and psychologically. Being in a band can be harder than marriage. Be a good bandmate and be a good friend or don't do it.
