I am a student of life, enlightened, compassionate, and bold. I write, perform, and produce my own music. I aim to use rock as yoga. I want to influence people, not impress them. I'd rather enlighten than entertain. I want to do something that's never been done before. I am organized, driven, and I would do anything for my band. I invite you out of the life of mediocrity and into immortality. Won't you join me?

Influences
Beyond anyone's doubt, the music world would not be the same without Led Zeppelin. My personal influences are too many and variegated to list here. I was raised on the classics and I've followed the progression of rock music in this country since. But I prefer music with a message, that makes you think. I love Chris Cornell, Disturbed, and Shinedown!
EQUIPMENT
I own two guitars: a Fender Stratocaster and an electro-acoustic Fender T-Bucket series. I also have a wah pedal, a distortion pedal, and a 15 watt practice amp. I have all the basics: capos, tuners, slides, etc. I also own a Dragon Tooth ocarina produced by Songbird ocarinas.

Apologies for the heavy distortion. In order to achieve the desired tone, I had to cut some corners. I have very little in the way of equipment and effects. There simply was no way to remove the hum. :/

The Metal
The Metal
This one was both fun and a bit frustrating. I never did get the tone right. I combined some phaser and flanger for the pre-bridge overdub. And for those that noticed: Yes, I know they used a delay pedal on the last chord. I'm poor and don't have one of those, so I just tweaked the echo settings on the free software I do have. The whole thing was played with The Pick of Destiny licensed guitar pick - awesome picks btw! - for your listening pleasure. Anyway, hope you like!

Bron Yr Aur
Bron Yr Aur
This was the first song I learned with my new acoustic guitar. This was always a favorite of mine since I first heard it as a kid. I don't usually use the first take, but I think I got lucky. =P Anyway, I will probably upload a clean version at a later date. I added a digital after-effect that hid a lot of notes from the final product. But I can play this consistently on my acoustic np!

This is not Jet. Just a backing track with bass, drums, and vocals. I don't know who is performing. But that is my Stratocaster you're hearing.
