Hey everyone!
My names Adam Maddock. I am 26 and I am fairly new to Virginia Beach. I've been playing, writing and singing my original music along with covers for about 6 years now. I am looking to get some fellow musicians together to start playing small gigs or just for fun. I play guitar and do vocals, I found an AMAZING guitarist named Justin Taylor who just left his band Joint Therapy Band. We have been searching high an low for a drummer and have yet to have any luck. We are looking for someone around our age 21-28 but we won't discriminate older folks. We just don't want somone that is stuck in their own way and not wanting to expanding their music bc they've been so used to what they've been playing for years. I grew up on Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, Waylon Jennings, basically the outlaws of country music. I also was brought up jamming out to great southern rock like Skynyrd, CCR, Allman brothers, Kenny Wayne Shepard, Marshall Tucker band, etc. Now a days the music industry has gone down hill in my opinion but I will say guys like Eric Church, Jamey Johnson, Gary Allan and Aaron Lewis are doin great things. I've been told that my sound is like a mixture of Eric Church or Aaron Lewis. I've been playing mostly acoustic music at open mic shows here and have been getting GREAT feedback with people asking me why I don't try to start up a bad. So with that said justin and I are wanting to take out guitars and we would love to get some drums, bass and some rock mixed up into something great.
