Life is too short to play classic rock! Seriously, I am not serious, sort of. I’m an old school metal head who fondly remembers the days of Headbangers Ball and when you could have Poison and Motorhead in your CD collection and nobody looked at you weird. They looked at us weird because we wore leather jackets with our sister’s belts.
I don’t want to be in a band that plays the same songs. I don’t want to play “Crazy Train” again. Let’s play “I Don’t Know” or Revelation Mother Earth.” I don’t want to play “Enter Sandman” I want to play some real Metallica. Let’s throw in some Poison or Great White, but some Suicidal Tendencies and Rage Against the Machine too.
I have been out of the scene for a long time. But hey if there is one serious note in this profile, it is that life is too short to not want to play music. I’m Adam. I play the guitar.
