I'm new to Ohio. I have lived all over the country but am originally from Oregon. I play in bands starting in my teens and into my late 20s. I fell off for awhile but want to get back to playing.

Influences
My early bands were hardcore and punk. With age, I've mellowed to also appreciate post-hardcore, post-punk, indie and popish punk. I am not interested in playing anything macho or metal. I would love to play something garage, shoegaze, post-punk, indie, or punk (as long as it's not too snotty or hardcore). Influences on stuff I'd like to play now would be Velvet Underground, Bowie, Built to Spill, Joyce Manor, Dinosaur Jr., Pavement, Psychedelic Furs, Treepeople, Wavves, Superchunk, Death Cab, Modest Mouse, The Smiths, The Ramones, Hot Snakes, the Bug Club, a lot of 90s Dischord stuff, Dirtnap Records stuff, Jawbreaker, Silversun Pickups, Eilliot Smith.
