In search of a second guitarist near Plaistow, NH to be the 4th piece in an original modern metal band.
What we sound like:
Our sound can be described loosely as metalcore, except more mature and with more depth. Our sound also contains influences and elements of post-rock, hardcore and progressive metal.
We currently have one guitarist, a drummer, and a bassist/vocalist.
What we're looking for someone who...
-is cool with playing rhythm parts, or maybe trading off leads
-is close in age to us (20s)
-is experienced in the music scene and has been in bands before
-is cool with being in a laid-back but serious for-fun band
-can occasionally play shows, and recording/releasing music
-has basic music theory knowledge, and can read tab
-is willing to work on songs outside of practice
What would be nice but isn't necessary, someone who...
-plays (and preferably owns) 6 and 7 string guitars
-can write music
-can write tabs
-can record music at home
-can sing/scream for backups/possible leads
Not cool:
Hard drugs
No ride (ever)
No equipment
No time
No communication
In our spare time we
-eat food
-play video games
-work on cars
-work on our gear/tone/technique
-go to concerts
