Sounds in the South is a new band in the Charlotte area. The band will be set up like a 70's horn band. Playing music from the 40's to the early 80's. Music from Earth, Wind & Fire, Chicago, KC & the Sunshine Band, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Average White Band, Beach Boys, Glenn Miller to name a few.

Influences
My biggest influence was my dad. He was big in music and he and I would sit for hours listening to music from the Big Band era, Dixieland and the 50's music.
Some Artist that I like are:
Glenn Miller Orchestra, Chicago, Earth, Wind & Fire, Chuck Mangione, Benny Goodman, Sousa, to name a few.
