My background is primarily with jambands, and I'd love to find one that would have me, but I'm open to lots of other genres, and experienced with most (I'm on the progressive end of the Jamband scene). Guitar is my main instrument, and, having been out of the game for a while (partially because I'm relatively new to the NW Arkansas area), I'd like to find something that is somewhat established, or missing only the role I'd fill. I have lots of experience and am eager to get back to the stage (my claim to fame is being in Cincinnati's Four Ohms, which was once listed as a Relix magazine "Band on the Verge"). Still, I'm not against tryin out new styles, and I'm confident I can pick up most anything. I'm also quite organized and dependable--but not a stiff.
Zappa, Dead, Phish, King Crimson, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Tom Waits, Queens of the Stone Age, NIN, Mars Volta. Jambands, Prog Rock, Jazz, Melodic Experimental Metal, Drone Rock, Free Jazz, Avant-Gard. Too many to list here.
Guitars: Gibson SG/Epiphone 335 copy/Electric-acoustic. Amps: Fender DeVille 2x12/Fender D90. Effects: Keeley Compression/Keeley Modded TS9 Overdrive/Boss Blues Driver/Small Digitech Multi-Effects Processor (for incidental effects)/Moog MuRF/Line 6 DL4 Delay Modeler/Ernie Ball Volume/Guyatone Micro Chorus/Boss Tuner. I am somewhat of a mad scientist with effects.
