Hi, my name is Alex, I'm 19 and I am a drummer looking for a gig. I go to school at UCSB, but when I'm not at school I live in the San Fernando Valley (Los Angeles area). I've played with many groups ranging from jazz to punk to funk to metal, but I'm looking mostly for a hardcore/metalcore band. I'm a really chill dude, easy to get along with and I would like to think that I can bring a lot to the table. If you're interested call, or email, and I will definitely get back to you.

Influences:

I'm mostly influenced by current alternative rock and classic rock, as well as metalcore bands, although I listen to alot of different music. My favorite bands would have to be Zeppelin, Coheed and Cambria, Protest the Hero, Rush, Pink Floyd, alexisonfire, Iron Maiden, and the like.

Equipment List:

If you're really interested, I have a Tama Starclassic Performer kit. 12 and 16" toms and a 24"kick. I play a basic cymbal set-up of zildjian A's and A customs: hi hat, ride, two crashes, and a china. I also have some percussion toys (tambourine, cowbell, etc.) as well as a djembe.

I'm looking into buying an electric kit for practicing and recording.
