Hello there! My name is Alexander Bauer and I am a hybrid lead and rhythm blues, rock, and jazz guitarist. I have lived in Denver since 2015. I am 30 with professional gear, a great ear, work ethic, and reliable transportation for practices and gigs. I have been in most rock bands where I have written all the music and we play covers.

I have studied and developed under jazz history and jazz guitar professors at the University of Vermont. I am currently in 1 other band, Jupiter Tea, and have 2 solo projects going on. I am currently wrapping up my solo album and have wanted to join a successful band as a lead guitar player, rhythm comper, and back up singer if need be. I am well steeped in music theory, jazz and blues application on the guitar, and song writing. My friends are sometimes astonished that I have so many different types of music that I play effectively. The band I am in, Jupiter Tea, has been super fun, we've played lots of shows, and released an album, but does not play gigs as much as I am looking for.

Part of my outreach is to provide you all with links to my guitar playing and singing so we can see if we would be a good fit. Another is to convey my passion for music playing. It is the thing that I live for though I am also a good family member, am a Certified Financial Planner®, believe that friends are the family you choose, am committed to teamwork and fun through work, and that music can save your mortal soul haha.
