I am a drummer with almost 30 years experience. I am looking for a serious guitar player to write songs and learn the parts to an existing demo. The next step will be to include a bass player and a singer. I love progressive music and I would like to infuse prog metal with a little ambience and atmosphere. My playing style is very busy and complex and I love writing songs in odd time. I have a decent rehearsal space with very nice equipment and a respectable recording DAW. My plan is to surround myself with a group of likeminded musicians, record a solid demo, and gig as much as possible.

Influences
I am influenced by so many different kinds of music. Early favorites were Rush, Zeplin, Floyd, and ultimately TOOL. I have been a devoted Tool fan from the start and my sound is heavily influenced by them. The bands I listen to these days are BTBAM, Periphery, Human Abstract, Animals as Leaders, Meshuggah, Tesseract, Intronaut, and most recently KARNIVOOL. Keep in mind, my style is more busy and weird than heavy.
