Original band seeking a keyboardist. We are based near Deptford, NJ and we are Americana with Southern Funk, Southern Rock, Heartland Rock, Blues Rock, Power Pop and straight up Rock & Roll. Our current lineup includes the following:

Vocalist/Guitarist-F (late 40's)
Guitarist/Vocalist-M (mid-50's)
Guitarist/Vocalist-M (mid-50's)
Bassist/Vocalist-M (mid 50's)
Drummer/Vocalist-M (early 50's)

Ideally, we are probably looking for that unicorn of a member, which would be a female keyboardist, preferably. We would like to have this to complement our band in quite a few ways from a musical and vocal standpoint. While this is our preference, we will not turn away the right person that fits us personally and musically.

Involvement in other bands/projects is actually encouraged and totally cool, since it broadens the base of fans that we can draw from to increase our own fanbase and strengthens our own musical diversity and creativity.

What we are looking for is someone who isn't interested in us just being another classic rock band cycling through the same 60 songs and playing the same 10-15 bars without actually doing something that is our own. We are willing to play some covers, but not an amount that just defeats the purpose of being thought of as an original band. Look at bands like Gov't Mule, Tedeschi-Trucks Band as examples of that philosophy.

Looks are unimportant to all of us, what we do need, is to work with people who can get along with others and not act like a jerkoff or an egotistical maniac.

A little food for thought: We are all left of center, politically speaking, and we have written and are always writing songs about the things we see in the world, whether it is good or bad, (art imitates life) and prefer that someone that can handle that. We also ask that if this is something that bothers you, you don't flood my emails with threats of violence or name-calling/accusations. We are adults, and we can work with people with differing views if there is civility involved, but we have careers, families and the band that keep us busy and we have no time to deal with immaturity over a difference in opinions.

We have made T-shirts, we are currently recording songs in the studio, we share the workload of the business side of things and we have been building our fanbase from the ground up. We have played out 1x thus far, are booked for more and plan for more this summer and fall.

We just want our music to speak for itself. For us, this is as serious as we can make it.
