I have been singing my heart out for years. I have a strong musical background, with a wide range of experience. I started singing at a young age (about 9), and kept going strong. I sang lead in 3 of 4 of our high school musicals. From high school concert choir, all state choir, concert band, show choir, and jazz band, I then moved on to the collegiate level. I was the lead singer in a rock band from high school through college (6 years). I sang in college choir and played in college concert, jazz, and marching bands. I majored in music my first year of college but then decided to change majors the following year. I have kept on singing over the years in my church choir and for fun nights of karaoke, but nothing beats a live band performance! Music makes me happy and I'm looking to be able to sing, play, and have some fun!

Influences
I love all genres, but my favorite is music from the 60's and 70's. I'm a huge Elton John fan. I also love the sound of bands like Billy Joel, Queen, ELO, the Scorpions, and David Bowie. I am a lover of the age of 80's music too, as that is my era.
