ABOUT

We are a "Psycho-Honkytonk-abilly" band...a little bit Rockabilly, a little bit Country, a little bit Psychobilly and hell, we even play a few surf songs. We've played the Kustom Kulture Festival and are contracted to play this years Reno Rockabilly Riot as well as the Ink N Iron Festival in Long Beach, CA.

We're getting to be pretty well established in the Rockabilly scene, if you can call it that, in the Northwest but our Bassist just quit and we had to can our Drummer. So we're looking for both. Check out our music at .angieandthecarwrecks and if you're interested, shoot us an email to angieandthecarwrecks . com

People are here for the love of Hot Rods-Kustoms, Live music, burlesque, art shows, 50’s fashion, and of course the tattoo show covering three floors inside the ship. 280 of the best tattoo artists in the world will be on hand from 30 States and 25 Countries representing all the tattoo styles; where a car show and music become an integral part of the event, mingling with the artistic expressions of the artists at work. Pinups clad in corsets, Classic Cats with Pompadours, Mohawks, fashion Mullets, full sleeves and back pieces. Not only is the breathtaking view of the gigantic Queen Mary, the beautiful water, and the amazing Long Beach skyline quite a task to take in all at once, but all the fashion statements and lavishly adorned people are quite a spectacle as well. This convention will be both a sort of art gallery and community festival. Seven years ago the ship was overtaken by the underground subculture of all things Kustom and modified. From tattooing to pin striping and tantalizing show goers with tight corsets the 8th Annual Ink-N-Iron Festival is laced up and racing for port!

It's time to start getting ready for the 3rd Annual Pinup Contest and Kustom Kulture Festival. Last year the festival drew over 2200 people in it's second year. This years festival will be even bigger and better than ever; we expect to draw twice as many people and cars for the event.

The theme for the festival is going to be "Superhero's" with the Pinup contest being appropriately titled "Pinup Girls Save The World".

This year we will register 45 Contestants for the 18 and over Pinup Contest. You can also expect to see plenty of Pinup girls returning from the last two years competitions along with many of the Roost'R Vixens.

This is a show for 1972 and older traditional Rods, Kustoms and Motorcycles. We will be limiting attendance to 250 vehicles, so please register early! Spectator entrance opens at 10:30 a.m. so all cars need to arrive by 10:00 a.m. Advance Registration is $25.00 if RECEIVED by May 1, 2010. Cost at the gate will be $30.00 the day of the event. Only those that are pre-registered are assured to get an event goodie bag. Registration fee includes car, driver and one passenger.
