ABOUT

I have been playing guitar for 15 years. Although raised on alt rock and metal, I have a broad spectrum of influences, and these days find more inspiration in jazz, blues, and folk players. Some favorites - Steve Howe, Chet Atkins, Jeff Beck. In addition to playing guitar, I have been studying piano with a teacher for nearly 1 year, and also took lessons for about a year as a teenager. I'm not ready to hold down a spot in a band as a keyboardist, but I'm getting there, hopefully.

Prog rock - my first musical obsession. More recently jazz (bebop and swing), funk, soul (classic, neo, and new - I like it all). Blues - all of it. Many fingerstyle acoustic players. 80s metal. Classical music.
