I'm looking for a full time gigging band to work for. I don't mind the genre especially. I'm a good player who is asked commonly to explore unfamiliar territory in the studio. I would prefer to play in a latin jazz orchestra, but I'd be fine with a good blues band with a lot of variety... i.e.: different kinds of blues and elementary jazz concepts. I like most music, and am looking for steady gigging: two to five a week, depending. I study blues, classisal and flamenco guitar as well as italian violin mostly, though I do try to learn something about a lot of other music. I have a chromatic slide guitar, a standard electric, an electric tuned in fifths, a flamenco guitar and a viola... though viola and slide are my weaker instruments. lately I've subbed in a haevy metal band as well as a jam band for gigs, am working on a country crossover album in the studio for a producer's client, and have some subtler material presently getting airplay during radio and television commercials.
Niccolo Paganini, Carlos Montoya, Steve Vai, Yngvie Malmsteen, Stevie Ray Vaughn
Jackson Dinky, Fender Stratocaster, Samick Tele copy, Alvarez classical guitar; Peavy EVH signature 5150 half-stack, a nice little practice amp and the viola (mostly for personal entertainment, that one)
