Just looking to get together with some cool people and play some music. Been playing guitar and piano for years but I'm not trained and although I can read music somewhat I cannot do it very well. I can read tab for guitar fluently and given some time to practice can generally play a passable interpretation. Given more time and focus I can play a good enough rendition to play for a few bucks and feel good about it. I have only limited lessons 8n guitar and really have no fundamentals or understanding in terms of technical expertise. Rhythm guitar is my milieu although I can play some passable riffs and solos with practice. On piano I have had zero formal training however I can read music in a very rudimentary sense. If u think of a kid learning to read who knows their ABC'S but whose vocabulary is very limited and grammar sucks thats about me reading music. I sing like and Angel. Lol just kidding. I have a good voice but again have had no real training with the exception of a few musicals I was in in college. I am a classically trained stage actor with a background mainly in comedy mostly plays, improv, and standup so I can handle myself without any problems on stage.
