Need to play with some cats who want to act their age and reflect it in their influences, without a heavy dose of covers...just let original music & lyrics (with a few covers sprinkled in) happen with a bluesy, funky, rocky, country, swampy, smooth & crunchy feel, ya dig?

Influences:

American & British guitar bands; Allmans, Eagles, Clapton, Beatles...bands with original offerings as well as covers from dusty old Blues cuts...stuff that we thought was original, but had been recorded and performed decades before somewhere in Mississippi or Texas or New Orleans. More recently, I'm into Keb Mo, Bonnie Raitt, Stephen Bruton, Jon Cleary, Taj Mahal; you know the types...consumate old pros...

Equipment List:

Gibson Guitars, Fender Amps, Mackie Mixers, JBL Speakers; at best, a modest arsenal of gear at the present.

Members Of Band:

None at present...I'd love to fill it out with a couple more guitar playing singers, bass included, a tight dynamic drummer who knows how to get folks' butt muscles twitchin', no matter the tempo or volume, (it's in the high-hat, I think) some good keys ala clean piano & B-3, filled in with additional strings, mandolin/violin...eclectic & smooth is my vision
