Sup folx!! I am looking to start a band project here in Madison. It's hard to find people who are interested in the project idea I have but it's basically based of the sound of my favorite bands.
It's a mix of various music that intertwine with each other. It's a Ska, Reggae, Punk and a bit of Hip Hop. As I'm getting older punk and hardcore just won't cut it anymore. I would like to create an environment for people to dance to smoke weed, drink a beer, and just have a good vibing time.
I'm looking for Guitarist, bassist, drummer to start with.
The message behind the music would be about unity and not division, speaking out for women's rights, LGBTQIA+ rights, Anti-Racism, Working Class struggles while also sending a positive message of peace love unity and living in harmony.
If anyone who knows the bands I mentioned or are willing to at least check them out and see if you vibe with them that be a big help..
