Attaway is a Charlottesville-based duo featuring brothers Julian Attaway (guitar, vocals) formerly of Bonefish and Mark Cave (cajon, harmonica, melodica) formerly of Surfzilla. Part comedy routine, part social commentary, and part personal narrative, the duo has a very stylized set that covers bands from the '60's through the present day: The Kinks, The Mommas and Poppas, The Zombies, Johnny Cash, Supertramp, Green Day, Jet, and Radiohead, among others. Attaway is also in songwriting mode and sprinkle in their own pieces with running commentary about all the music they play. Don't miss Attaway for their unique style, tight harmonies, and nuanced take on the music that richly colors all of our lives. Newly formed but with scheduled gigs through spring and summer.
