Band to Join, Bass Guitar, Drums, Keyboard, Lead Guitar, Piano, Saxophone.

ABOUT

Guitarist/Singer/Songwriter seeks bass, drummer, second guitar & keyboards to form a band. I'm currently working with a cover band but am also looking for musicians interested in doing original material. I write and play all original rock music (electric and acoustic) and also do choice covers. Influences: all American 20th century music (non-classical) plus 60s-70s British Invasion. A very experienced musician, with 3+ sets of songs.
I'm seeking smart, creative, skilled rock musicians who can play a variety of styles and understand dynamics, taste, noise & nuance, improvisation, and can play with both restraint & abandon. Vocal abilities highly desirable. A sense of humor is also mandatory. Ideally, here's who you are:
Bass -- tasty, melodic, rock solid, smooth, funky.
Drummer -- a solid rock drummer with great dynamics, ideally with jazz training and who can swing and play odd time signatures as well as straight backbeat; small kit, big sound? Great!
Keyboards -- preferably a classically trained pianist who can really rock, boogie & groove and is proficient with electronic instruments.
Second Guitar -- versatile, accomplished, shared rhythm & leads
Want form a ROCK band structured around primarily original songs which are generally accessible & melodic with occasionally complex lyrical content. Styles range from soft ballads to arena hard rock anthems with everything in between (country twang, r&b, punk-pop, moody soundscapes, swampy grooves). I'm looking to create a unique and identifiable sound and take it as far as we can go, while having fun and moving people, both physically & emotionally. The better you are, the better we'll be.
