It's just me, myself and I at this point. I write songs, play the guitar, piano, banjo and mandolin and sing (badly)...really, I don't have a very good singing voice; someday I hope to find a vocalist with whom I can collaborate. For now, I just enjoy having fun creating and playing music. I would really like to play music with a Christian message. I like playing a variety of music styles including: Americana, folk, jazz, country, bluegrass, contemporary and/or traditional Christian music, gospel, southern gospel, rock, etc...

Influences:

I really love fingerstyle guitar and open and alternate tunings (G, D, DADGAD, Dropped D, etc). I love the work of the late John Fahey. Also influenced by Leo Kottke, Ry Cooder, The Eagles, Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young, Eric Clapton, Santana, ...
Influences on my current music: Alison Kraus, Gillian Welch, Nickelcreek, Bela Fleck, Eva Cassidy, HEM, The Corrs (popular Irish), Judee Sill, Maddy Prior.

Country/Bluegrass:
Earl Scruggs, Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, The Country Gentlemen, Tony Rice, Jerry Douglas, Sam Bush, Rhonda Vincent, George Strait, Randy Travis, Hank Williams Jr, Doc Watson, Merle Travis, etc..

Rock Influences:
AC/DC, Judas Priest, Queen, Fleetwood Mac, Nirvana, Led Zeppelin, Van Halen, Rush, The Who, Nickleback, Nantucket, Humble Pie, Aerosmith, Greatful Dead, Def Leppard, Grand Funk Railroad, The CARS, Blondie, ABBA....on and on...

Classical Music:
Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto in D, any Chopin (esp. if Vladimir Horowitz was playing), Mozart, Bach, Vivaldi, John Williams

Equipment List:

Martin D28, Martin 000C-16RGTE AURA, Taylor 810ce, Roland Juno-G synth, DAW PC built by PCAudioLabs in CA, SONAR 7.1, Gibson Earl Scruggs banjo, Weber Gallatin mandolin
