We're two friends who have just been jamming together for a few years and are finally looking to start a proper band for gigging and recording music! We're looking for at least a moderate level of commitment (be able to meet to practice at least once a week, interest in playing shows and recording) but being a professional or full-time musician is by no means a requirement! We're mostly interested in doing this for fun in an attempt to create beautiful music and improve our skills, and see where it goes from there.
We're fairly open to playing different types of music, although our tastes primarily converge on melodic progressive rock (like Pink Floyd or King Crimson), metal (Metallica, Opeth, Dir En Grey), and psychaedelic or atmospheric rock. In any case, we're certainly not looking to commit to a genre without finding other band members. What kind of music do you want to make? We'd love to find ways to blend your tastes with ours!
Especially seeking a drummer, a keyboardist, and vocalists, but an additional guitarist or bassist would also be welcome.
