I have been playing bass for over 20 years and I have schooling in Bass Performance. I play 5-string and have since I started (before it was "cool".. LOL). I have also been singing for a little over a year. I would love to be in a band that would give me the opportunity to become proficient as lead vocals! I am lucky that I have 24/7 to work on music. I work very, very hard to do the best that I can but I haven't lost sight of the enjoyment of playing/singing (especially on stage)!

Influences
I am heavily influenced by 80's metal. Over the years my tastes have expanded greatly. It's now easier to say what doesn't influence me in either vocals or bass. The genres that I strongly dislike are rap, gospel/Christian, and certain types of jazz (the type that sounds like each instrument is playing in different keys, time signatures, and songs).
EQUIPMENT
I currently use an ESP 5-string bass and a Hartke A150 amp. I also play with a pick.
