Right now I am working on an original project and all I need are some guitar, keyboards and drums to complete the line up. The music will be a compilation of all ideas submitted by the other players. I have access to a recording studio and would like to start recording spring 2008. Please respond if you have any ideas to share!! Progressive Rock, Fusion Rock, Jazz, Funk, Blues, Classic Rock or whatever style we come up with, it's all good. Let's get creative and try something new!

I have had a few formal lessons when I was 16 and a few from Tim Bogert (Vanilla Fudge)in the early 80's. My brother had showed me some of the basics but for the most part I just learned by ear and by playing along with records and with other accomplished musicians. I have a very good ear and feel for the music.

The last serious band I was in was called Force of Souls. We played the LA / OC club circuit and had some label interest. We recorded 3 self financed Cd's with some special guests such as Ginger Baker, Bill Ward, Gregg Bissonette, Cornelius Bumpus, David Lindley and Randy Hansen (Jimi Hendrix impersonator). (None of this would have been possible without the help of our guitarist, Leland Jeffries).
The connection to Bill Ward landed me an audition with Ozzy back in 1991. I was up against 49 other bass players but Mike Inez ended up landing the gig. He is now with Alice in Chains and Heart.
I have been in a blues band for the last five years called the Shadowblasters.

Playing style: I'm a heavier groove oriented player. I'd say a mix of Jack Bruce, John Entwistle, Geddy Lee, Chris Squire, and Michael Rutherford.
Genesis, Yes, Gentle Giant, King Crimson, Jeff Beck, Stanley Clarke, Mahavishnu Orchestra, Jimi Hendrix, Cream, Led Zeppelin, Robin Trower, The Who, Rush, ZZ Top, Devo, Talking Heads, Judas Priest, Metallica, on up to more recent bands such as Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilots, Foo Fighters, Linkin Park, POD, System of a Down etc.
I have been playing a 4 string acoustic/electric bass for the past year just to give my ears a rest. I also have a G&L ASAT bass from a G&L endorsement in which I purchased from Leo Fender right before he passed. I also have a Fender P bass & P/J bass and assorted pedals as well as some electric and acoustic guitar equipment I sometimes noodle with. I am currently using an Ampeg BA115HP combo amp and a new SWR California Blonde.
