ABOUT

In short, I am seeking a jazz ensemble to take me in.

As a recent high school graduate with 11 years of rigorous musical training, I have taken up a great deal of classical study for several years in piano and voice with professors at Denver University. In addition, regarding my intense love for jazz, I have sung in an all-women's jazz choir (12 members) and a mixed jazz choir (16 members) for four years, both choirs offering many solo opportunities. I have also been a member of the Colorado Allstate orchestra and the Colorado Allstate choirs.

I have also gained entry for three consecutive years into Indiana University's International Piano Academy/Festival during which I've had the opportunity to perform for an accomplished audience and play in several masterclasses with several great pianists and teachers across the world.

I may be quite young, but I am a particularly accomplished sight reader, a great analyzer of charts, a decent improvisor, and capable of learning material very, very quickly. Ultimately, I always strive to play/sing musically, whole-heartedly, and with great technical finesse.
