I've been playing mandolin (and taking regular lessons) for over 3 years. I'm looking for others to play a mix of bluegrass, fiddle tunes, old time, and old country. I'm mostly looking for others to jam with on a regular basis.
Prior to mandolin, I was a committed trumpet player playing in swing, ska, and jazz bands. When I moved from Kentucky to Boston I quickly realized that trumpet + apartments don't mix. I moved over to a string instrument to remind me of my KY roots and it's not as loud.
