I have been around music all my life. My father was in a gospel quartet, so I grew up watching/listening to him. I also played trumpet for 7 years, throughout school. Music has always been a big part of my life and I'd like to test the waters a bit as a vocalist. I'm looking for something very basic to start with. I am married and have 2 kids, so they are my first priority, but I'd like to find some musicians or a band who could be committed to at least 1 practice a week; without the pressure of gigging and touring right away. I've never been in a band before but I do think I have some talent... I just have to find where it fits. I've played around with a guitar a little through the years and I can read a little music. I like all rock, from classic to heavy metal and goth rock. Some of my favorite bands and inspirations are: Type O Negative, The 69 Eyes, Pantera, Metallica, Iron Maiden, Flyleaf, Evanescence, Paramore, Rancid, Bullet for my Valentine, No Doubt, Joan Jett, Janis Joplin, Greatful Dead, Pink Floyd, AC/DC and SO many more.
