Hey! I'm looking to get back into playing music with other people and to learn and improve my skills. I was in a band a couple of years ago, but things fell apart before we got to the gigging stage. We don't have to go out and book gigs (although I'm open to that if it gets to that point), I'm happy to just play music at someone's house and have fun. I would prefer to have at least one other woman in the group and maybe meet up at a bar or something before we go to someone's place to jam.
I started playing piano when I was 9, but I'm now a bit rusty. I started playing bass guitar when I was 18 and its for sure my favorite instrument to play. I like funk, rock, alternative, I'm open to playing multiple genres. I play finger-style, slap, and with a pick.
I work during the day, so I could practice in the late afternoon. Off on weekends and some Fridays, any time on those days should be fine.
