BigRed And the Soul Benders is a great little blues band from Mountain Home Arkansas. Having played the Arkansas Blues and Heritage Festival (formerly known as the King Biscuit) on the main stage and to play 2007 main stage ,and winning the Arkansas Blues and Heritage Award ,& Three time contestants in the IBC ,
is the up and comming blues to see!! With a sultry,low down ,reach inside you voice Big Red fronts this band with a style all her own.She has been called the next Janis Joplin, also told she sounds like Koko Taylor & Big Mama Thornton. Along with The Soulbenders consiting of Mike Taylor on bass guitar ,Larry Noble on on leads and rythum , and Need drummer on drums have successfully written many songs on their debut cd "The Devil Made Me Do It". And with a new CD just being released By Big Red ! News For big Red and the guys ! After paricipating in the Sonny Boy Blues Society's battle of the bands and making the finals br&sb will be on the Emerging Artist stage once again at the Arkansas Blues and Heritage Fest. In Helena Ar . They also participated in the Texarkana blues society's Road to Memphis battle of the bands .After WINNING this copetition BR &SB will be participating In the IBC on Beal St. in Memphis. This competition is the biggest blues band gathering in the world. Chosen bands from all over the world come to compete.
