Music for me has always been about not having structure and just letting the tunes flow. During my college years, my friends and I would sit around bong and jam to many different styles and keys. Right now, I can't say I have developed much further from that, with exception to less free time, less friends and more work! However, I must say that I do feel more creative, innovative and improvisational. When I do have bouts of creativity, I will usually loop it and play lead over it. If I really like it, I record it on my phone only to just tell myself I will come back to it and develop it. I am looking for other improv players that do feed off of creativity.
