Have been playing for a long time and still looking for the band to stay with the rest of my life. Classic rock is the way to go if it's the right classic rock and I will not settle for drunks who pick stupid songs to do because they like them. There are so many tunes to choose from that there is NO excuse to pick bad ones. And about the drunk thing, playing in a great band is like a corporation in business, you don't drink on the job and get wasted and expect to get anywhere for the long haul. I don't drink when I play as it makes everyone off there game, including me, but at least I know this and treat the gig like a job and the band like a corp. EQUIPMENT
Yamaha stage custom advantage 8 pce. this is a 7 yr old set in mint condition. Yamaha made these sets out of maple then. They now make them out of Fakata and Philipine Mahogony so the older sets are the better ones. I use only Zildian a custom cymbals except for my hats. they are Sabian and have a killer sound. all with cases and all mikes. I do some background vocals when appropriate to do so .
