I picked up bass during the early stages of the pandemic. I'm not a total newbie anymore but I know I'm barely scratching the surface as a bass player. I have a demanding day job so I can't spend too much time practicing but I do it regularly. I've been transcribing stuff, playing with recorded music (and teachers) so far but I'd like to start playing with actual people. My goal is to continue to learn and gain more experience. Gigging is not a priority but when it feels right and the music is ready I'm definitely not opposed to the idea.
