I am seeking dedicated musicians interested in becoming a successful "party" band for the area.
Setlist could include classic/hard rock (AC/DC, ZZ Top), alternative (STP, Smashing Pumpkins), indie rock (White Stripes, Raconteurs), and pretty much anything with a hard rock edge that people will get up and dance to.
I like LOTS of music, and am open to learning new things, as long as it rocks.
If you're a band with current gigs lined up, I am NOT your guy. It has been a long time since I have played in public, and I would rather practice for some time to learn a set list and really perfect it.
As far as my current technical abilities go I feel I'm middle of the road; not a beginner, but not yet advanced. I practice daily and work at improving myself all the time.
Classic Rock: Jimi, Randy Rhoads (early Ozzy), Ace Frehley, Boston, Van Halen, ZZ Top, CCR, Beatles, AC/DC, etc. etc.
Alternative: Smashing Pumpkins, STP, Spacehog, Nirvana, etc.
Indie: Killers, White Stripes, Raconteurs, etc.
...also a lot of bands you've probably never heard of. I'm open to playing anything as long as it rocks.
Gibson LP Custom, Jackson RR3, 100W Marshall Valvestate amp, various MXR/Digitech/Rockman effect pedals (both vintage & new). Will always be adding more equipment as time goes on.
