ABOUT

I started playing music in 4th grade as a percussionist in my schools concert band up until my senior year in high school when I picked up bass to fill a spot in my friends metal band, been playing bass for about over a decade. My main interest is in rock, metal, prog, or alternative, and cover bands if im into the covers. My ideal band would be something like Chevelle or Nonpoint or Mudvayne or Sevendust, basically very melodic but not afraid to bring the heavy. I'm also into the whole muse sound too, been slowly building a pedalboard so I can get some cazy sounds. And lastly, been getting into more prog metal as of late, been listening to bands like Periphery, BTBAM, Tesseract, Animals as Leaders, Protest the Hero, The Safety Fire, The Contortionist, etc, so I'd love to try a group like that, just keep in mind im not really as good as the guys in some of these groups. Influences

As far as root musical influences I grew up with a brother in orchestra so that type of thing was always in my ears and I grew up listening to oldies and 80s rnb, like The Eisleys, Rick James, Teena Marie, etc. Nowadays I love practicing with stuff like coheed, mudvayne, alien ant farm, tesseract, or intronaut, those pretty much sum up my style of playing with some of said influences infused as well. Like I said in my bio, I listen to pretty much all progressive metal at the moment so that has been going into my playing, mainly the rythmic stuff they do is what I love about that.

EQUIPMENT

Right now I have a Lakland 5501 5 string, Cort 5 string and a modded music man sterling 4 string. Amps are an aquilar tone hammer 500 with an Avatar 410 cab. Pedals I use are a 3leaf groove regulator, walrus arp 87 delay, iron ether xerograph, iron ether subterranea, iron ether octane fuzz, and darkglass alpha omega preamp.
